CB problem Mobile
I have/had a Cobra 29 in my Classic Freightliner which worked perfect. 5/7 mile range in my area.
Now I just bought a Freightliner Columbia,it got hit by lightning and fried my radio.
I bought a new Cobra 29 installed it but,Cannot get any range. 1/2 mile at best. Also this will Not calibrate right, way over 3.
What else is wrong? The antennas are factory as is the coax.
Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.
Thank You

Re: CB problem Mobile
Hey perry,
I know this is a bit late, but it sounds like a grounding issue. Make sure your antenna is insolated and the center is grounded.
